Independent Research Centre “There is an opinion” – is a structure, working in the field of socially dangerous diseases prevention and research on various aspects of social life.

During the last decade the crossing of 2 social problems has been happening in Russia and Chelyabinsk. On the one hand, the increase in the HIV-infection, sexually transmitted diseases and drug usage spread rate; on the other hand, the degradation of the children’s leisure infrastructure. Thus, the youth has become one of the most vulnerable groups.

This way, the foundation of the CCPO IRC “There is an opinion” was clearly the necessary step in the situation. Founded on the 6th of October 2000, our organization is dealing with the practical solution of such problems, based on the data of our own social research.

Our goals:

• The all-round social health support;
• The decrease in the spread rate of the socially dangerous phenomena, such as drugs, HIV, and STD, and the inducement of the youth into crime;
• Procurement of the overcoming of psychological and communication problems (socializing problems, diffidence), support in the personal traits development, self-realization of the personality;
• Setting up the various youth leisure forms, which are the alternative to the risk behaviour;
• Forming the youth’s active life position, the development of the leadership traits and skills;
• The research of the various social life aspects;
• Social, psychological and informational PLWHA support;
